FoodSpot is a collaborative platform for cross-border innovation and cooperation in the food sector of the Netherlands, Flanders and North-Rhine Westphalia. FoodSpot was founded on March 12th 2008.

All four partners have established networks in the industry, research and governmental organisations. They represent major food production areas in Europe.

Members of the  founding partners automatically benefit from the activities of the FoodSpot collaborative platform.

End December 2010, FoodSpot, together with DIL (Deutsches Institut für Lebensmitteltechnik - Niedersachsen) started the Food2Market project.
Aim is to support SME's (small and midsized enterprises) in transnational innovation.
